Shotguns
Built in Val Trompia. Fitted for the way you shoot.
B. Rizzini has been building shotguns in Marcheno, Italy for generations. Every gun that leaves the factory carries the same foundation, a low-profile action, hand-finished wood, and the balance that makes a gun feel like it wants to go where you're already looking.
What changes across the line is purpose. A gun built for forty flushes over a pointer is not the same gun you want on the last station of a hundred-bird course. Below are the five families we distribute, and where each one belongs.

Field shotguns
Rizzini field guns are built for the days that start before sunrise and end with mud on the boots — balanced over-and-unders that carry light, mount fast, and shoot where you look.
Every model below is regulated, patterned, and proofed in Marcheno, Italy, then imported, serviced, and warrantied in America by Rizzini USA.

Which Rizzini field gun is right for you?
The BR110 family is the working Rizzini: a boxlock over-and-under with the same barrels, triggers, and regulation as guns three times its price. Step up through the BR220, BR330, and BR550 for progressively finer wood, finish, and engraving on the same field-proven mechanics.
Light actions for long walks
Light-branded models — BR110 Light Luxe, BR220 Light, BR330 Light — use scaled actions and slimmed barrel profiles to shed weight without giving up the pointability that makes an upland gun worth carrying all day.

Premium field shotguns
The Regal and Deluxe guns are what happens when the same field-proven actions are handed to the bench: selected walnut, hand-finished metal, and engraving cut by a person rather than a machine.
These are hunting guns, not cabinet guns — regulated and proofed to the same standard as every Rizzini, with parts, service, and warranty handled stateside.

Deluxe, Extra, and Grand Regal explained
Deluxe and Extra describe the grade of engraving coverage and walnut figure; Grand Regal adds a rounded-body action and deeper scroll. The mechanics underneath are the same Rizzini over-and-under you would carry in the field.
Showpiece doubles that still get hunted
The S782 EMEL sits at the top of the premium field range for buyers who want a true showpiece. BR550 and BR552 Deluxe variants offer premium finish on the firm's most popular field platforms.

Competition shotguns
Sporting, IPS, and Trap configurations built around heavier, deliberately muzzle-forward barrels — guns that swing through the target instead of stopping on it, round after round.
Adjustable combs, balance weights, and interchangeable chokes are specified per model. Every gun is patterned and proofed in Italy and supported in America.

Sporting, Sporting X, IPS, and IPS Trap
Sporting is the all-round clays setup; Sporting X adds a heavier, higher-rib profile for shooters who want more front weight. IPS models use an adjustable, ported high rib, and IPS Trap tunes rib height and pattern placement for trap targets.
Choosing a platform: BR110 to BR550
BR110 Sporting is the entry point for a serious clays gun. BR240 and BR240 EL step up in finish and receiver treatment, BR350 offers a heavier competition action, and BR550 Sporting sits at the top of the standard competition range.

Premium competition shotguns
The BR460 range is Rizzini's top competition platform — a heavier, hand-finished action built for shooters who put five figures of shells through a gun and expect it to hold regulation.
Sporting, Sporting X, IPS, and IPS Trap configurations are offered in standard and EL finish, each regulated and proofed in Marcheno and supported by Rizzini USA.

What the EL designation adds
EL guns carry upgraded receiver treatment, finer engraving, and higher-grade walnut over the same BR460 action and barrel set. Nothing changes about regulation or how the gun shoots — only what it looks like in the rack.
Matching the configuration to the discipline
Sporting and Sporting X cover sporting clays and skeet; IPS suits shooters who want an adjustable high rib across disciplines; IPS Trap is specified for trap, with rib and comb geometry set for a higher point of impact.

Legacy models
Guns Rizzini has retired from the current catalog — field, premium field, competition, and premium competition models that were superseded, renamed, or simply finished their run. They are listed here because they are still out in the world, still being shot, and still worth knowing the specifications of.
Rizzini USA continues to service legacy guns and source parts where they remain available. If you own one of these and need a fitting, a repair, or an appraisal for insurance, start with our service desk rather than a general gunsmith.

Why a model gets retired
A Rizzini leaves the catalog for ordinary reasons: a new action supersedes it, a naming scheme is consolidated, or a grade of engraving stops being offered. Retirement is not a judgment on the gun. Many legacy models share barrels, chokes, and lockwork with guns still in production, which is why they remain straightforward to service.
Service, parts, and fit
Rizzini USA is the point of contact for legacy guns in North America. We handle stock refitting, trigger and ejector work, reblacking, and choke replacement, and we can advise on what is available before you ship anything. Parts for older actions are finite — tell us the model and serial range and we will confirm what can be sourced.
Buying or valuing a used Rizzini
Legacy models trade well because they were built to the same proof standard as the current range. Check barrel wall thickness, verify the gun is on-face, and confirm the chokes are original before agreeing a price. For insurance or estate purposes we can provide a written appraisal referencing the original specification.
Own one of these? We still look after it.
Talk to Rizzini USA about service, parts availability, or a written appraisal for a discontinued model.
