The hand-selected Turkish walnut wood is upgraded to a #3 grade. The “Big Five” big game scene engraving is very elegant and each receiver is meticulously hand finished to bring out the detail of this spectacular piece of art. Built for dangerous game, the Rhino Express pairs classic side-by-side reliability with the stopping power of .470 Nitro Express — the caliber that’s turned back Cape buffalo, elephant, and lion for over a century.
This Rhino Express features 23″ barrels chambered in .470 NE, regulated for close-range accuracy where a follow-up shot has to count. The coin-finish receiver is hand-engraved with a full Big Five scene — elephant, lion, leopard, rhino, and buffalo rendered in fine bulino detail across the sideplates, flanked by scroll and floral engraving and the RHINO EXPRESS banner on the top lever.
Barrels wear a deep rust-blue finish and a tri-color fiber optic front sight (red/red/red) set into a low-profile ramp for fast target acquisition — essential when seconds matter on charging game.
Stocked in dense, well-figured walnut with hand-cut checkering and an oil finish, the wood is fitted tight to the action with a shadow-line cheekpiece for a secure cheek weld under recoil.
